outer diameter of a pipe is 70 cm and it is 21 m long find the cost of painting the outer surface of the pipe @ rupees 10 per square metre

Hey mate...here is ur ans..☺☺

Radius = 70/2cm = .70/2

Height = 21m

Curved surface area of cylinder
 = > 2\pi \: rh \\ \\ = > 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times \frac{.70}{2} \times 21 \\ \\ = > 22 \times .10 \times 21 \\ \\ = > 46.2 {m}^{2}

Rate = 10/- per m^2

Cost = 46.2 × 10

= 462/-
