Answer:

Hey mate here is your answer.//

Explanation:

Outline a project which aims to find the dominant coat colour in dogs.

A black homozygous male is mated with a white homozygous female to give F1 generation. If the progeny in F1 generation has all black dogs then we can conclude that the dominant coat colour is black.

Dogs have several genes that govern their coat colour .

Assume that you have selected a Black (BB) male dog and a brown (bb) female dog. Crossbread them and produce F1 generation.

As black colour (B) is dominant, all F1 generation will be Black (Bb)

Self crossing F1 generation :

When F1 generation is self crossed both black and brown offsprings are obtained.

In order to find the dominant coat colour we should first select pure breed male and female dogs having black colour and pure male and female dog having brown colour then.

i) cross the pure breed black male dog with pure breed brown female dog

ii) also cross the pure breed brown male dog with pure black female dog.

a) if all the progeny or (puppies) are black in colour then black will be dominant coat colour in dogs.

b) if we were all the progeny aur (puppies )are brown in colour then brown will be dominant coat colour in dogs.
