Outline how light energy is used and how organic molecules are made in photosynthesis

Water molecule is split into oxygen molecule and H+ion using light energy . This is called light phase.The ion is used to synthesise NADPH molecule from NADP+ . During dark phase this NADPH molecule is used to reduce CO2 to glucose molecule.
