1. Since some of the Tribals and nomads were continuously on move, they were difficult to govern, administer and monitor. This led the Britishers to force the Tribals to settle at a place .
2. Power from tribal chieftains were taken away and they were used as puppets to rule the people of their tribes. Their lands were taken away and they were forced to work on the same piece of land thus ending their cultures and economy.
