Yes it creates many problems...
Traffic on road increases
Pressure on land for production of food increases
Land under forest decrease as more residents are needed to be built
Pressure on existing water resources also increases
Pollution increases...........

Over population causes many prpblems because it's getting the earth overloaded already due to pollution .
