If a student wants to study abroad, first the student has to check with the respective school abroad incharge officer whether the school has any link with abroad colleges and whether the credit points will be transferred to the colleges in which he/she will get enrolled.

If the school doesn’t have such option, when selecting a college/university, the student has to very careful.  The student should first check whether his/her friends or seniors studying, can get in touch with them and then go ahead in applying. Should also verify the fees that are being charged.  This can be done through the internet or by enquiring the friends.

The student should also estimate the cost of living, course expenditure, banking procedures etc. If the student has decided to join a university, first, he/she should check whether she/he has any friends or connections there, should check on the customs, should have all the necessary papers and should be healthy.  Last but not the least, the student should always be prepared for the unexpected because you cannot plan for everything.
