let the oxidation number of sulphur be x
so hence   ....answer will be like this
2+x+5 X (-2)=0
x+2-10=0
x-8=0
hence x=+8
but max oxidation state is +6 .....

CuteConfused: no it is wrong
CuteConfused: the process is wrong
CuteConfused: it can be done by formation oxide linkage
akampan1: u mean +8 is wrong?
