Ozone is quite harmful to human being, vegetation and materials. However it is not seriously considered as air pollutation. Why?

it is not considered as air pollutant because it protects the earth's surface from harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun

It's a secondary pollutant because it is produced when two primary pollutants; nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds react in sunlight and stagnant air. Ozone is a colourless and highly irritating gas that forms just above the earth's surface

because it's only due to ozone gas that we are living on this planet so easily as it protects us from harmful rays of sun.

it flies upwards quickly.

this makes it a boon.

so,even after harmful effects on living organisms ,it is not seriously considered as air pollution
