Answer:

Answer

friction force between 10kg and 20kg

fs1=μmg=0.5×10×10=50N

it acts in direction opposite to 100N force

thus force acting on 20 Kg block is friction force

f1=50N

friction between block 20kg and 30 kg

fs2=μmg=0.5×30×10=75N

which is greater then friction force acting on block 20kg

friction betwwen block 20kg and 30 kg is grater thus there is no relative motion between surfaces of 20kg block and 30kg block such that they will move together

So we assume both blocks as a single block of mass 50kg

and force acting on it is only 50N

thus acceleration is

a=mf1=20+3050=1m/s2

acceleration of both 20kg block and 30 kg block is same. =a=mf1=20+3050=1m/s
