To Find ; p(a intersection b compliment)​

Solution ; It is given that p(a)=1/4 p(b)=2/5 p(a u b) =1/2

P(A) = means the probability of occuring of a

p(a) = 1/4

P(B) = 2/5

P(b) means the probability of occuring in B

p(a u b) =1/2

p(a u b) means thta both a and b are occuring at the same time

P(a intersection b) = P(a)+P(b)-P(A uB)

=0.15

Hence the probaility of complement is 0.85
