 P and Q are two stations. A train goes from P to Q at 64 km/hr and returns to P at a slower speed. If its average speed for the whole journey is 56 km/hr.at what speed did it return?​

If the total distance is 128 km and the total time = 1 + x then the average speed 56 km/hr = 128 / (1 + x) and so 1 + x = 128/56, x = 2.286 - 1 and finally

x = 1.286 hours Then, return speed = 64/1.286 = 49.8 km/hr
