Solution :-

Given :
P and Q can do together a piece of work in 20 days.
(P + Q)'s one day work = 1/20

P and Q have worked together for 12 days.
(P + Q)'s twelve days work = (1 × 12)/20 = 3/5

Remaining work = 1 - 3/5
= (5 - 3)/5
= 2/5

Q completed 2/5 work in 10 days.
Q completed 1 work in (10 × 5)/2 = 25 days.
Q's one day work = 1/25

P's one day work = (P + Q)'s one day work - Q's one day work
= 1/20 - 1/25
= (5 - 4)/100
= 1/100

Hence,
P can do the work separately in 100 days.
