P and Q have some marbles with them. P says to Q if you give me one marble, I will have one-fifth of the number of marbles that will be with you. Q say to P if you give me one marble, I will have six times the number of marbles that will be with you. What is the total number of marbles with P and Q?

x-1=5y+5

6(y-1)=X

6y-6=X

equating both

we get

x-5y=6
