P could finish 2/5 work in 4 day' and Q could finish 3/5same work in 9 days.they worked together for 5 days and then P left. The remaining work was done by Q. Find the time
required by Q to finish the remaining work

Step-by-step explanation:  If P finished work in 2/5 days so you could say 2x5=10

5x5=25          so 10/25 is how much works in 4 days and if Q finishes work in 3/5 in 9 days

3x5=15

5x5=25 15/25      

But what will hep is how much they work each day

P does .5 in one day

Q does .3x9=2.7 so about .3  is how much he does a day.
