p = 6q. Difference between p and q = (p) - q = (6q) - q = 5q.                        Now q is less than p by 5q.                                                                     Out of p, q is less = 5q                                                                               out of 1, q is less  = (5q)/p                                                                         out of 100, q is less= [(5q)/(p)] x 100                                                                       = [(5q)/(6q)]x100 = (5/6)x100 = 250/3 % = 83 1/3 %

according to question
6p = q
p = 6q.
so percentage =\frac{( p -  q)}{p}.100
                        =
\frac{(5q)}{6q}.100
                        = \frac{(5q)}{6q}.100
