if P,Q and R are  mid points of sides BC,CA and AB of Δ ABC then AG + BG + CG = (2/3) (AP + BQ + CR)

Step-by-step explanation:

P,Q and R are respectively the mid points of sides BC,CA and AB of ΔABC

AP and BQ intersect at G

=> G is centroid of Triangle

=> AG/ AP  = BG /BQ  = CG /CR  = 2/3

   AG = 2 AP/3

    BG = 2 BQ/3

    CG = 2 CR /3

Adding all three

AG + BG + CG = 2 AP/3 +  2 BQ/3 +  2 CR /3

=> AG + BG + CG = (2/3) (AP + BQ + CR)
