P, Q, R, S, T and U are the six corners of a table which has six sides, not necessarily in the

same order. Persons A, B, C, D, E and F are sitting along the sides joining the corners, not

necessarily in that order. S is to the right of P and R is to the left of T. A is sitting opposite

to E and to the immediate right of F. D is sitting between the corners P and T and is

opposite to C. If F is sitting between R and U, then who sits between Q and S?

12)

A. A

B. E

C. C

D. B

Answer:

Correct option is

C

P and U

According to the question, the sitting arrangement will be as shown.

Therefore, pairs P and U ; and S and R are sitting diagonally opposite.

Hence, option 'C' is correct.

Answer:

option (B) E is the answer

Step-by-step explanation:

(the persons sitting along  the sides are represented by underlined letter while showing arrangement to avoid confusion)

S is to the right of P

the arrangement will be like this - P  S  -(i)

and R is to the left of T

the arrangement will be like this- R  T

(as these are corners I've assumed the points are next to each other, there might be many points in between P and S  and R and T ,I'm not sure about that )

A is sitting opposite  to E and to the immediate right of F

the arrangement will be like this-  F   A

E(E is opposite to A ,draw this arrangement in the form of a diagram)

D is sitting between the corners P and T and is  opposite to C.

the arrangement will be like this-P D T  or T D  P

compare with (i) it makes sense for the arrangement to be T D  P

and remember C is opposite to D

If F is sitting between R and U

the arrangement will be like this-R F U or U F R

Now draw a hexagon you know A is sitting opposite  to E and to the immediate right of F , draw that and next .You know D is opposite to C then D will come to the immediate right of A and mark C opposite to D.

D is sitting between the corners P and T- so right of side  D will be P and next to P will be S (see question)  and F is between R and U ,the remaining corner will be Q.

The arrangement of this in clockwise is - U F R AT D P__S E Q__
