p square + q square if p-q=6 and p+q =14​

Answer:

p-q=6...(1)

p+q=14...(2)

Add (1)and (2) we get =>2p=20=>p=10.

Substitute p=10 in (2) =>10+q=14=>

q=14-10=4.

 {p}^{2} +  {q}^{2} =  {10}^{2} +  {4}^{2} = 100 + 16  = 116

So the value of p square +q square is 116. Hope it helps you.
