R. T. P :-

  • 5 - 2√3

PROOF :-

  • Let us assume 5 - 23 be rational

Subtract given number from 5 ,

Considering 5 is a rational number

As we know,

  • Difference of two rational numbers is a rational number

5 - (5 - 23) is rational

23 is rational

As we know,

  • Product of two rational number is rational number.

But the fact is,

  • 3 is irrational

Which is contraction to our assumption
