x-2 ) p(x) ( q(x)
 __________
          r

x-2 )  2x³ - 3x² -5x +6 ( 2x²+x -3
         2x³ -4x²

        ----------------
                 x² - 5x
                x²  -2x
        -----------------
                   -3x +6
                   -3x +6
         -------------------
                      0
p(x ) = 2x³ -3x²-5x+6
q(x)= 2x²+x-3
r=0

mysticd: compare this with given problem
mysticd: p(x ) = dividend, divisor = x-2
mysticd: to find quotient , and remainder we have to divide like above
mysticd: is it clear
jibiin: ok
mysticd: i) take first term in dividend , divide it with first term in divisor
mysticd: 2x^3/x = 2x^2
jibiin: thanks man i got it now
mysticd: multiply 2x^2 with divisor = 2x^3-4x^2
mysticd: do the same
