⇒ p(\frac{-5}{2}) = 2x + 5

⇒ p(\frac{-5}{2}) = 2(\frac{-5}{2}) + 5

⇒ p(\frac{-5}{2}) = -5 + 5

⇒ p(\frac{-5}{2}) = 0

∴ "\frac{-5}{2}" is a zeo of the polynomial p(x) = 2x + 5
