P(x)=m²-3m+1

p(1)=1-3+1=-1

P(2)=4-6+1=-1

Given :-

p(x) = m² - 3m + 1

We have to find p (1) and p(2).

  • Put x = 1 in equation.

 p( 1) = (1)^2 -3 \times 1 +1

 p(1) = 1 -3 + 1

 p(1) = 2 -3

 p(1) = -1

  • at x = 1 p(1) is -1.

  • Put x = 2 in equation.

 p(2) = 2^2 - 3 \times 2 +1

 p(2) = 4 -6 +1

 p(2) = 5-6

 p(2) = -1

  • at x = 2 p(2) is also -1
