p(x)=x^2+5x+2 find value of p(0)+p(2)+p(3)

Solution

p(x) =  {x}^2 + {5x} +  {2}

p (0) =  {0}^2 + {5×0} + {2}

= 0 + 0 + 2

= 2

p(2) =  {2}^2 + {<em>5</em><em>×</em><em>2</em><em>}</em><em> </em><em>+</em><em> </em><em>{</em><em>2</em><em>}</em><em> </em>

= 4 × 10 + 2

= 42

p ( 3 ) =  {3}^2 + {5×3} + {2}

= 9 × 15 + 2

= 137

Now,

p (0) + p (2) + p (3)

= 181
