p(x) = x⁴+4

Then, roots of the above quartic polynomial is :

x⁴ = −4

x₁,₂,₃,₄ = ±1−i, ±1+i

The sum of root is equal to 0

and, the value of p(x) at x = 0 is 4

i.e, its y intercept : p(0) = (0)⁴+4=4
