Given, p(x)=x9-5×4+1
g(x)=x+1
Now,Put g(x)=0
x+1=0
x= ‐1
Based on factor theorem
g(x) is factor of p(x) if p(-1)=0
Then, p(-1)=x×9-5×4+1
0=9x-20+1
-9x= -20+1
-9x= -19
x= -19/-9
x= 19/9
