In hindi-दूसरे शब्दों में कहें तो प्राइमरी मार्केट वह जगह है, जहाँ सिक्‍युरिटीज ( प्रतिभूतियों ) को अस्तित्व में लाया जाता है ( जैसे आई.पी. ओ. के द्वारा) | प्राथमिक बाजार के विपरीत द्वितीयक बाजार (सेकंडरी मार्केट) में विभिन्‍न कंपनियों द्वारा पहले से जारी किए गए शेयर/डिबेंचर या अन्य सिक्यूरिटीज का लेन-देन होता है।

In english-The primary market is where securities are created, while the secondary market is where those securities are traded by investors. In the primary market, companies sell new stocks and bonds to the public for the first time, such as with an initial public offering (IPO).
