Chattisgarh is a state of India, it was created by partitioning southeastern districts of Madhya Pradesh on November 1, 2000. Its geographical extent is  17 Degree 46 min north to 24 degree 5 min North latitude and from 80 degree 15 min est to 84 degree 20 min east longitude, its to total areas is 192,000  square kilometres. It is heavily forested states and is well known for temples and waterfalls. Raipur is its capital.
