global warming is the increase in the temperature of Earth. and it's because of those evil green house gases xD. not evil.. they are helpful too.. but at a limit.

the greenhouse gases like carbondioxide, methane, water vapour trap all the radiations and heat of sun which falls on the Earth's surface and don't allow the to escape back into space. this is called greenhouse effect. as the temperature rises, the weather become very hot. and this is global warming.. The Warming Of Earth!

because of this, we may face (still facing) many problems. oceans and seas are overflowing as the snow and ice of polar region is melting.. weak animals and plants are dying because the very hot weather. animals and plants are losing their habitat etc.

to prevent all these things,

⏺we must plant more and more trees since trees are a good absorber of carbondioxide (a greenhouse gas).

⏺we must stop using non-biodegrable things like plastic, thermocol etc.

⏺stop burning fossil fuels and trees.

⏺walk or use bicycle to cover short distances.

⏺use public transport often.

वायुमंडल के सामान्य क्रियाकलाप सामान्य अवस्था में होने पर सूर्य की किरणों से गर्म होने वाली पृथ्वी अधिकतर ऊष्मा को वापिस लोटा देती है जो वाहय वायुमंडल व् अंतरिक्ष में विसरित हो जाती है।इस प्रकार पृथ्वी का जीवमण्डल ऊष्मा से बचा रहता है लकिन पिछले कुछ सालो से पृथ्वी के वातावरण में कुछ गैसे खासकर कार्बोन डाई ऑक्साइड की अधिकता से बनीं हुई परत ग्रीन हॉउस के शीशे की परत के सामान कार्य करती हे,अर्थात यह सूर्य के प्रकाश को पृथ्वी तक पहूचने देने के लिए तो पारगम्य होती है परंतु पृथ्वी से गर्म वायु जब ऊपर उठती है तो यह उसके लिए अपारगम्य दीवार का काम करती है,जिअके कारण पृथ्वी का तापमान बढ़ जाता है। इसी प्रभाव को ग्लोबल वॉर्मिंग कहते है।
