let side of square be a

then a²=144

=>. a=12cm

now length of wire =perimeter of square=4 x 12

hence length of wire =48 cm

so, let side of eql. triangle be x

then perimeter of eql. triangle=length of wire

=> 3x=48

=> x= 16cm

now,area of eql. triangle=

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} \times  {x}^{2}  }{4}  \\  =   \frac{ \sqrt{3} \times 256 }{4}  \\  =  \sqrt{3 }  \times 64 \\  = 64 \sqrt{3}  {cm}^{2}
