My Dear Father

I am quite well here. My studies are going well too. I am, however anxious about the home news. Please tell me how Rani is doing at school. Is my mother happy and well?

The expenses in this city are rather more. I have to pay for my fees and dues of the hostel next week but don't have enough money. I, therefore request you to send me ten thousand rupees as soon as possible.

I feel I need some private coaching for mathematics. For that, I need an extra two thousand rupees. I know you have already spent a lot on me. I can only assure you that I am not wasting your hard-earned money.
