No,it does not mean that heat will not be transferred if the temperature of two objects is same.

Explanation :-

  • Heat transfer does take place but the heat transfer from both sides are equal.Instead,we call it equilibrium.

  • Therefore,the temperature of the each of the body remains same and we do not notice any fluctuations.

  • In general case,heat transfer takes place from hotter to colder body.
