Hi friend

Here is the answer

The human body is not set at 37 degrees Celsius, its just an average. So, why 37? Well, the body mechanisms that keep you alive actually generate quite a bit of heat. However, if too much heat is produced, proteins will denature. If too little heat is produced, body functions will fail.

As the human race as evolved for billions of years, 37 Celsius seems to be the average temperature that keeps all the body processes at an optimum.

The ideal body temperature is considered to be 37 degrees Celsius or 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Paheli got worried as her body temperature was not the ideal.

Explanation:

  • When our bodies fight an underlying infection or have a fever, the temperature flares up and deviate from its ideal temperature.
  • So when Paheli saw that her body temperature was not ideal she was worried.
  • However, if the temperature is not that extreme there is no cause for worry. Sometimes taking a paracetamol, or ibuprofen helps out in lowering the temperature and alongside, doctors prescribe fluids and rest.
