Carriage is outward ie out of the business so credited for business. In against to whom this carriage send is debited for business because he or she is Debtor ie something receive from anyone or business... ⭐⭐⭐⭐

If Hanuman is our Customer and he bears the Cartage expense  : Hanuman A/C. Dr  Rs.xxx    To Cartage A/C.  Rs.xxx (Being Cartage expenses incurred on behalf of Hanuman) If cartage expenses are spent by the business: Cartage A/C.  Dr.  Rs.xxx    To Cash A/C.   Rs.xxx (Being  cartage expenses incurred)
