Cartage Expenses A/C. Dr. Rs.xx
To Cash A/C (or) Bank A/C. Rs xx
(Being carnage expenses paid on sale of furniture)
In the cash book:
On the credit write " By Cartage expenses" with respective amount in the Cash column in charges are incurred in the form of cash, in the bank column if the charges are incurred through cheque or any other bank instrument
