Then draw a cheque with the amountpayable in the favor of "Name of Bank / Branch -- A/c Income Tax" if you are depositing the cheque along with the challan in the bank and branch with whom you have no banking relationship or "Your Name - A/cIncome Tax", if you are submitting thepayment to your branch.

3 golden rules


personal accounts - debit the received and credit the giver


real accounts -debit what comes in and credit what comes out


nominal accounts - debit all the expenses and losses, credit all the income and gains



as per the question 2 accounts affect purchases account and cash account


Income tax account - Nominal account

Bank account - real account



by applying the golden rules ,
