Answer:

The complex conjugate of a complex number is the number with an equal real part and an imaginary part equal in magnitude but opposite in sign.

As the real part is "a" in both numbers and the imaginary part i.e. ( bi ) and ( -bi) are equal but of opposite dimensions i.e. positive and negative.
