↪Papillary carcinoma (PTC) is the most common form of well-differentiated thyroid cancer, and the most common form of thyroid cancer to result from exposure to radiation. Papillary carcinoma appears as an irregular solid or cystic mass or nodule in a normal thyroid parenchyma.

Carcinomas:- Cancers of this type arise in the epithelial tissues, like as in skin, the epithelial lining of internal organs or in glands. It is about 85 per cent of all tumours.

Examples:-

(a) Brain carcinoma:- Oral carcinoma

(b) Gastric carcinoma:- Colon carcinoma

(c) Lung carcinoma:- Cervical carcinoma

Some Extra Information:-

1. Generally prostate cancer in males & Breast cancer in female is a simple incidence in the whole world.

2. Cervical or Uterine Cervix cancer in females & oral cancer in males are common in India.

3. Lung cancer accounts for 31.1% of all cancer death in men & 25% in women.
