Television has become the most common and most widespread source of entertainment in the present world. A wide range of programmes are not only entertaining: they can be highly educative too. For example, televisions used for distance learning. Courses run by the Open University are shown on the BTV. Several channels like the discovery channel and the national geography telecast highly informative programme. Of all the TV programmes Drishtikon is my favorite TV programme. This programme is telecast at 8.30 after Bangla news. Man is not satisfied with what he has seen and known. He wants to know and see more and more. There are many places of historical interest in Bangladesh and all over the world. It is not possible for a man for go to those places in person and sees with his own eyes. A person may have much money but time, health and other circumstances may not permit him to go and see the places. But he can see and enjoy the places on the TV screen at a little cost. It need not spend much money and take much labor to visit those places. Drishtikon programme performs this very thing and serves our purpose of seeing the places of historical interest. I see all these places where I have not been. I come to know about those places and their importance. It increases our knowledge, gives up a practical sense of places, peoples, and things and broadens our outlook. It helps us to understand God’s creation. The world is full of many wonderful things and they lie scattered all over the earth. Drishtikon programme gives us an idea of God’s creation.it impresses our mind with vastness, grandeur majesty, and wonder of God’s creation. It gives us a peep into the mystery of God’s creations and fills our mind with piety and devotion. For all these reasons I like Drishtikon programme.
