Suggest some ways to handle such unfair practices used in elections by our contesting candidates
Answers
There are many unfair practices used in elections. Some of them are:
1. Sometimes it is seen that many false names are included in the voters list and many genuine names are often excluded.
2. The candidates with a lot of money often bribe people and the common mass end up selecting the wrong candidate.
3. Many a times we see that the people belonging to a particular party barge into the booths which leads to 'booth capturing'.

They say “All’s fair in love and war”. And politics. Barring outright slander and libel, you can say almost anything. This recounts the contest between Claude Pepper and George Smathers in 1950:
“Are you aware that Claude Pepper is known all over Washington as a shameless extrovert? Not only that, but this man is reliably reported to practice nepotism with his sister-in-law, he has a brother who is a known homo sapien, and he has a sister who was once a thespian in wicked New York. Worst of all, it is an established fact that Mr. Pepper, before his marriage habitually practiced celibacy.”
Pepper lost the election. Voters told reporters that they weren’t quiet sure words like “extrovert” and “nepotism” and “thespian” meant but they were sure they were connected to bad, immoral or illegal activities.
Jon Gruber was pretty accurate when he spoke of the ‘stupidity of the American voter”. People suck up all sorts of garbage.
They also lie about things, which do not fall under libel laws.
