The annual sports day
After waiting for about a year, we celebrated sports day in our school. It was organised on Monday, 2019. Our principal has chosen a very energetic title for the annual sports day. It was " Oorja 2019 ". Our chief guest was Mr. L Y Suhas ( IAS ). He is an international badminton player in para olympics, ranked world number 3 and medalist in Asian Para games and Asian championship. He encouraged us for sports and athletics by his auspicious speech. Program started with warm welcome of guests, opening ceremony and March past. Later on, we had aerobics first. Then, Martial arts ( korean, African and Indian ). we had different types of races. Yoga was also included in that. The most energetic was hurdle race ( 400 m ). Pyramids and gymnastics were one of them.
Then, we had prize distribution. Winners got medal, certificates and trophies, accordingly. Then, we had vote of thanks. Overall, it was the most energetic, encouraging and my favorite day of the year.
