Answer:

The five major types of pollution include: air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, light pollution, and noise pollution.

Explanation:

Air Pollution: Air pollution occurs when harmful or excessive quantities of substances including gases (such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrous oxides, methane and chlorofluorocarbons), particulates (both organic and inorganic), and biological molecules are introduced into Earth's atmosphere.

Water Pollution : Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies, usually as a result of human activities. Water bodies include for example lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater. Water pollution results when contaminants are introduced into the natural environment.

Soil Pollution : Soil pollution is defined as the buildup in soils of persistent toxic compounds, chemicals, salts, radioactive materials, or disease-causing agents, which have adverse effects on plant growth and animal health. Soil is the thin layer of organic and inorganic materials that covers the Earth's rocky surface.

Noise Pollution : Noise pollution, also known as environmental noise or sound pollution, is the propagation of noise with harmful impact on the activity of human or animal life. The source of outdoor noise worldwide is mainly caused by machines, transport, and propagation systems.

Light Pollution : Light pollution, also known as photo pollution, is the presence of anthropogenic and artificial light in the night environment. It is exacerbated by excessive, misdirected or obtrusive uses of light, but even carefully used light fundamentally alters natural conditions.

Answer:

there are 4 types of pollution, water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution and waste pollution. Air pollution is caused by the smoke coming out from vehicles, machines, factories, air conditioners, Trains, Metros etc. It is also caused by crackers. Crackers also cause noise pollution. Noise pollution is caused by the noises coming out of vehicles, machines, crackers etc. Water pollution is caused by Chemicals that get mixed with water that causes harm to aquatic animals. It also causes harm to us because we also drink water. Waste pollution There is caused by waste like plastic, wet garbage and dry Garbage {when mixed}. It also pollutes the soil and it will be harmful for the trees, plants. If the soil will be polluted then the plants, trees ETC would not grow. If trees, plants etc. would not grow then there will be no rain, no food, no wood, no fresh air, no oxygen and no medicines etc.
