We know that we were born in our mother's womb. A mother is a girl. She was a teenager once. She faced so much problems in her life that she knows now how to give us a comfortable and secure life.
Like this, we the girls, from West Bengal feel good for ourselves nowadays. Like the other countries, we the girls from India, are also suffering from odds. It is better for students that we have come under Kanyashree Prakalpa. The girls from West Bengal had bad times to be married before 18. We do not get enough chance to study further. The poor girls are always suffering from the lack of money and security.
It is a blessing that we have come under Kanyashree Prakalpa. On 1st April 2013, this Prakalpa was inaugurated by C.M. Mamata Banerjee. We are thankful to her. The Government gives us Rs 1000/- per annum. When a girl is over 18 and wishes for higher studies, she gets Rs 25000/- at a time. Atleast 20 lakh students from 12 thousand schools and 6 hundred colleges have come under this Prakalpa.
The Government of West Bengal had sanctioned one thousand crore rupees for 2017-18. We can hope at our bests that like other Prakalpas, it will not be at its end in a jippy. I hope that our Infia will find its lost glory depending on us.
