paragraph on an educational tour of murshidabad
Answers
Explanation:
India is indeed incredible. To explore the past of this phenomenal country my family planned a tour to Murshidabad, which is the ground for the Hazarduari palace. Yes off course, places like Murshidabad rarely crosses the minds of today’s youth, but the unparalleled beauty of the place can keep you awestruck.
In the state of West Bengal, Murshidabad is a small district that is divided into two nearly equal portions by the river Bhagirathi, the ancient channel of the Ganges. The traditional beauty of India oozes out of this place. The mild sound of the calm Bhagirathi flowing along with the occasional chirping of birds (in city life we barely do get time to listen to birds chirping ) will actually wash out all the problems of daily schedule.

A Visit to A Historical Place – Short Essay
A few years back I had a visit to a historical place of Murshidabad district which is located at West Bengal, in Eastern India. I spend a wonderful time visiting several historical sites in Murshidabad that includes the Palaces, Castles, Mosques, temples, and the ancient remains of the reigning period of Nawab Siraj-Ud-Dullah. It was a family visit with my nephews and nieces where we enjoyed excavating the historical truth behind the heaps of debris of the past remains. We had a visit to the famous Hazarduari Palace of Murshidabad, Katra Masjid, Old Cossimbazar Rajbari, Motijheel Park, Khosh Bagh, House of Jagath Seth, Nasipur Palace, Kiriteswari Temple, Kathgola Gardens, and Pareshnath Temple.
The Hazarduari Palace is built in a vast premise on the banks of the Bhagirathi river with spectacular architecture of the entire palace. The architecture has a Greek influence with thousands of doors from which it derives the name ‘Hazarduari.’ The interiors of the museum are magnificent with high dome structure and chandeliers of 96 lamps. The similar one we have seen at ‘Jagath Seth’s House’ the ride on the horse carriage to this marvelous palace was fascinating for all of us. After visiting the Hazarduari Palace, we went to ‘Katra Masjid’ which is also spread across a vast area with wonderfully maintained garden and massive stone pillars resembling the Islamic architecture. It has a great historical value built by Nawab Murshid Quli Khan. This place bears the Burial Tomb of the Nawab. Our next visit was to Old Cossimbazar Rajbari and House of Jagat Seth. The Old Cossimbazar Rajbari has an architectural importance which emphasizes on the remains of the Old Palace that are quite well maintained by the State Government.
It was a memorable and heart-wrenching visit to the historical places in Murshidabad which left the impression of the Nawabi reign in Bengal.
