With the outset of the pandemic all over the world, many nations or countries have imposed lockdown in their respective places. India has also imposed a total lockdown from the end of March, during which all forms of movements were restricted. This means even schools are closed.
For me, the lockdown was a welcome idea, which I think all school-going children will agree with. It allows us to skip classes and remain at home, giving us a necessary holiday. And with that, I was able to enjoy my time without any stress of homework or getting up early. I can do whatever I want and also watch TV anytime. It gave me the freedom to do the things I wasn't allowed to do before. Overall, it was a huge relief for me to have such a long holiday without the need to worry about homework, exams, and early mornings.

In a lock down people are required to stay where they are. It is imposed due to various risks to themselves or the others that can be caused if they move freely.
We also witnessed lock down in India. It lasted from 25 March 2020 till 31st May 2020. We were not allowed to go out due to COVID-19 pandemic. Schools were closed and out classes were cancelled. It was imposed to prevent the spread of virus, it spreads by coming in contact with an affected person, or by touching a surface previously touched by infected person.
we stayed at home and took online classes during lock down . It was difficult in the beginning but soon we got habitual to it. We all were happy when after two and half month, the government announced that lock down will be lifted and we will be able to go out.
