The rule and principle which determine how a country is governed and which give its citizens certain rights from the constitution of the country is known as constitution. India has its own constitution. the constitution was prepared by the constituent assembly a group of about 300 people especially elected for the purpose and Dr. Rajendra Prasad. the Assembly first meet on 9 December 1946 and completed its work on 26 November 1949. the constitution framed by the Assembly came into force on 26 January 1950. the people of India participated in governance through representatives elected by adult population of the country. election hours regularly and the people have change a government if they are not satisfied with it has India is a democratic country.democracy means by the people,for the people and to the people.it tell us to choose our government which helps people by our own mind.
