IPL means indian premier league.this ipl matches were started on 2008 by bccl. a number of 8 teams participate in this game. it is held in india during summer vacations that mean april to june.the first section of ipl as sponsered by DLF.
five teams were able win the title:
kolkata knight riders (2 times)
,chennai supper kings (2)
,rajesthan royals (1),
deccan chargers (1), and
mumbai indians (1).
Chennai Super Kings are the most successful team so far, having won the title twice and at least a semi-final berth in every season. The current champions are the Kolkata Knight Riders, who won in 2014 by beating the Kings XI Punjab by 3 wickets.
now it is the seoson of ipl-8 but now,instead of the team deccan chargers another team sunrisers hyderabad was rosen.
