The city where I live is New Delhi. It is the capital of our motherland, India. It also has a status of union territory. It is situated on the bank of the river Yamuna.
This city has great historical importance.
Delhi was founded centuries back by Pandavas. This city has experienced many empires. The old historical monuments are a witness to this fact such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Nizammudin Tomb, Qutub Minar etc. Delhi is visited by tourists all over the worldDelhi also has museums like Rail Museum and Doll Museum. It has many buildings such as Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Teen Murti Bhawan, India Gate.
There are many parks also like Buddha Garden, Lodhi Garden, Rose Garden, and an amusement park.
Delhi is divided into two parts, one is old Delhi and the other is New Delhi. The old Delhi has high wall, all around the city with big beautiful gates.... I love my cityyy..!!!!!!!!
