Answer:

A role model is a person who inspires you to be like him. ... He is my role model not because he has achieved great things in life and become the president of India. He is my role model because he dedicated his entire life to the country and its people especially school children.

Explanation:

When you listen to the terms “role model”, who do you think of? When I listen to it a sequence of artists, sportsmen and politicians appear in my go. Is this the way children nowadays have been programmed by the T.V. and the radio? What has happened to time when you could ask the kids who their true role model was and the would respond, “mom and dad”? This is the coldblooded reality of life nowadays. Role models as the words suggests are individuals who differentiate themselves in such a way that others appreciate and want to replicate them. Sadly, kids of the current generation are not being able to comprehend the meaning of a role model. Today, things continue getting from terrible to more regrettable, first of all, children choose the wrong role models and secondly a celebrity culture has emerged towards the end of the twentieth century, that has developed a new consumer society.
