iology lecture was on. The teacher was teaching and everybody was listening with their utmost attention except me. I was doodling here and there, doing something silly without catching teacher's attention. Biology was always boring for me.Listening a lecture for even one minute for me was like it has been an hour! Time was passing and gradually I was feeling sleepy. I bent my head over the bench, resting on it so that I shouldn't feel sleepy. But what! After closing my eyes I was feeling more sleepy. I saw up, the teacher wasn't paying attention to me. She was busy with her diagrams and explanation. I again rested down and didn't know when I felt asleep. Honestly speaking, it was a wonderful sleep. But who knew that someone was waiting for me after my sleep! As soon as I saw up towards the teacher, she ordered me to stand up.
She said,"So, Jamson, what were you doing from the past half houelr, the lecture is about to end."
"Ma'am, nothing. I was just listening to what you were saying."
(Oh my god! Did I just say that ? Now I am gonna go out of the class!)
"Jamson! This is for the fourth time you are sleeping in my class. Has someone taught you etiquettes? Don't you know that you don't have to sleep during the classes. Are we here to teach ourselves ? Indeed it's for you students. And if you sleep like some sleeping monsters out here then what's the use of we teaching here?! Get out get out of my class now!"
I was terrified. I asked myself what should I do, I didn't even apologise her. Sometime later, she came out of the class since the lecture was over and gave me an angry stare.
I thought the matter was over. But then... As soon as I reached home, my mom was standing at the door with a broom in her hand. I was sure she was not going to beat me, but that was to scare me. My mom had always been strict in study matters. It seemed that she had known that I was sleeping in my class.
That day was the worst day for me, I had to listen to my mom, then when dad came home he also gave me a whole lecture on that topic. Many things were restricted for me for a week! Can you imagine - a week!
Now I am sure that I would not sleep in any of my class again!
