Explanation:

I'am a medical assistant and the bravest thing I ever had to do was perform CPR. It was late night when I was on my way home, and decided to stop to get gas. First, I was thinking to pay with my debit cared, but than thought about the cash my mom had gave me this morning. I was on my way to make the payment. I opened the door slowly, although I was kind of scared myself not seeing a single coustomer there. As I walked in, I said "helloooo", but nobody replied. I stood infront of the counter for atleast 2 minutes, thinking the clerk must be in the back stock room. Those two minutes seemed never ending for me at the point, so I started looking around. Ring Ring, the phone started ringing. I didn't pay much attention because I thought the clerk would come up front and answer the phone, but nobody came. That's when I notice something wasn't right. I went back up to the counter and looked over, and there I saw the clery lying down on the floor. I screamed out "Oh my god". I quickly ran around the counter and called 911. The fron the other side spoke and started telling her the situation. She then told me to calm down and the paramedics were on their way. She asked to perform CPR on him till they got there. That's when I thought thank god I'm certified in CPR. As I started to breath in his mouth 30 times, I saw his chest rising. It was a sign that told me, I was doing it correctly. After that I checked for his pulse on his neck; fortunately, I found the pulse on him, which told me that he was still breathing. Just as I was about to start the second round to CPR, the paramedics stepped in. I jumped up in up relief to see them walk in. They wraped him up on the bed and put him in the embulance. Just as they were about to drive off, the paramedics thanked me for helping them out that night. Finally I reached home, and was never so glad that it was over. That was far more the bravest thing I ever did. Saving someone's life. It felt great!
